The GD56 is the ultimate in offshore origami construction. Building on the G55 design, the GD56 is longer, leaner, and lighter. It is the highest performance hull design we offer.

The GD56 represents the ultimate goal of Origami. To build boats in less time, that look and perform better, at a reduced cost. Without the need for specialized equipment or highly specialized builders. With reduced displacement, the GD56 has reduced ballast, a smaller rig, and a smaller engine. All of which reduce costs. While at the same time waterline length is maximized to increase hull speed and stability.

We have study patterns in small (21 in), medium (27 in), and large (33 in) that can be printed on standard width (8.5 in) printers. The paper sizes required are: small (8.5×11), medium (8.5×14), large (8.5×17), or metric equivalents.
